I'm a Chipping Sodbury-based artist working primarily in acrylics, inspired by light, atmosphere and landscape.

Since returning to painting in retirement, my work has become increasingly expressive and painterly, using colour and simplified forms to capture the experience and mood of a place.

Yate Open 2026​

I'm delighted that all six paintings I submitted to this year's Yate Art Open have been selected for the exhibition at Yate Heritage Centre, Church Road, Yate, South Gloucestershire, BS37 5BG from 2nd September–3rd October 2026 - Tuesdays 11-3.30, Wednesday/Thursday 10-4.
