Welcome to my website. I paint landscapes, people and buildings, often inspired by the play of light and colour in the world around us.

Since returning to painting in retirement, I’ve exhibited regularly through local exhibitions and art groups, including recent exhibitions at Yate Heritage Centre, Cass Art Bristol and Yate Library. My work ranges from local landscapes and architecture to people working mainly in acrylics.

Yate Open 2026​

I'm delighted that all six paintings I submitted to this year's Yate Art Open have been selected for the exhibition at Yate Heritage Centre, 1st September–3rd October 2026.  The works reflect the more expressive, painterly direction I've been exploring following my recent painting course in Norfolk.
